Sleep

How much sleep do you get??
Is it close to eight hours? Do you have any stints of at least four hours straight through during the night? Did you know the average sleep cycle takes about four hours? So if you can't even get that you are not getting the benefits of sleep that you typically should be getting.

You need sleep. Being tired has the same effect on you as alcohol does. It breaks down you body mentally and physically. It ruins your judgment, it dampens your mood and hurts your immune system. It gives you food cravings, convinces your body that you are starving when you aren't; which leads to weight gain. Strains your body (because it is not recovering properly) which increase the amount of stress on you body. Which is directly related to insulin production, which puts fat right on your stomach.

I could go on all night, but I think you get the point and I need some sleep!
